- Now take Appam pan and place on low flame grease with ghee/butter/oil and pour 1 Tbsp of batter in each and cover with a lid. Let it get baked for 2 mins then turn around and bake for 20-30 secs. Then take out in a plate and bake the rest of the batter, in the same way.
- Now lets make the ganache for frosting. For the frosting - first heat the fresh cream and pour it on chopped chocolate. Mix it so that the chocolate melts and the mixture becomes smooth.
- Place Appam Cakes on a wired rack and pour liquid ganache on it.
Now place the rest ganache in the fridge to chill to make a whipped ganache. - Take the remaining ganache from the fridge and add little whipped cream and whisk or beater it to make a light whipped ganache. Frost it on the cake and dust with cocoa powder and garnish with some silver balls or of your choice.
- You can refrigerate the cake before serving. I like to enjoy it as it is with light frosting.
